How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
SHIPPING AND HANDLING RATES:
Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order. You could easily see an estimate of how much your shipping charges would be by adding an item to the shopping cart and entering your shipping zip code.
What shipping method does Avenue Sound use?
Avenue Sound uses UPS as the primary carrier for most small items. Should you require faster service we do ship USPS if requested at time of purchase. All large items (over 70lbs) are shipped via UPS.
Where does Avenue Sound ship from?
Avenue Sound ships from a state-of-the-art warehouse center in Freeport, New York or from our retail location in Patchogue, New York
When will I get my package?
Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Credit Card Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Credit Card Department, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment. Please note, credit card processing can take up to 3 business days (Depending on the accuracy of the information given to us by the customer.). Further, for security reasons, voice confirmation may be required before we can process your credit card for payment. If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our main Freeport, New York warehouse or from our retail location in Patchogue, New York. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory in our warehouse.

TOTAL TIME FOR DELIVERY:
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items.
Do I have to sign for my package?
YES! For security reasons, all shipments require a signature at the receiving location.
RETURN POLICY AND PROCEDURE
Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website, on the receipt or packing slip, or in the following terms, Avenue Sound will accept qualified and conforming products for refund within 15 days and for exchange within 30 days of the original purchase date. All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and all exchanges will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Shipping charges will not be returned.
To qualify for return all products require a Return Authorization (RA) Number prior to being returned, must be 100% complete, in the same condition as when sold, and in the original packaging as provided by the manufacturer. All packing materials, manuals, diskettes, CDs, digital media, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation must be included. Kits and other items assembled after purchase must be unassembled and returned in the manufacturer's original packaging. All returns will be inspected and products found to be non-conforming will be rejected or subject to a restocking fee at Avenue Sound's sole discretion.
Manufacturer and Supplier Restrictions
Some manufacturers have implemented returns restrictions that prevent Avenue Sound from being able to accept returns or offer exchanges, replacements or credits on their products for any reason. Please check the item listing on our website to determine if special return policies are applicable to your products. Support as well as exchanges or replacements for products with manufacturer or supplier restrictions, including within the first 30 days of ownership, must be handled directly with the product manufacturer or supplier. You can find the manufacturer or suppliers contact information in your product manual, in the item listing, on the manufacturer's website or at our brands .
Rebates and UPC codes
Products offering mail-in-rebates are non-returnable to Avenue Sound once the rebates have been filed for. Be sure that the product is working and that you intend to keep the product before filing for rebates. Products missing UPC codes are NOT returnable and will be rejected or subject to a restocking fee at Avenue Sound's sole discretion.
Items purchased within a bundle are held within the return guidelines for the individual item as specified in the individual item's listing and in these terms.
Non-qualified returns and Restocking charges
Non-qualified and non-conforming returns are not included in Avenue Sound return policy and, if returned, will be rejected or subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% at Avenue Sound's sole discretion.
All returned products will be thoroughly inspected and a determination will be made if eligibility and conforming requirements are met. Please verify the product you are returning meets the below guidelines and qualifies for return to avoid any delay in, or denial of, processing your return. All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and all exchanges will be subject to a 5% restocking fee. Shipping charges will not be returned. If a non-conforming product is accepted for return Avenue Sound reserves the right to charge a restocking fee up to 25% at Avenue Sound's sole discretion. Return processing may take up to 5 business days from the time your product is received.
• Products must be in the original manufacturers packaging, and shipped securely
• Products must be complete with any standard certification labels (UL listing, capacity, brand name, UPC code) originally placed and not tampered with.
• Product serial number, or any similar identification numbers, must match the serial number on the package or invoice (Avenue Sound maintains serial number tracking).
• Products must be free from damage of any type, including, but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement or indication of removed screws/fasteners or seals.
• Products so labeled with a security seal, must have the seal intact and not tampered with.
Return Authorization Number
Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Authorization (RA) number. Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website or in our Return policy, you may request an RA within 30 days of the original purchase date. RA numbers expire after 30 days, but we encourage you to return the product as soon possible. Any return we receive without a valid RA number will be documented and rejected or subject to a restocking charge at Avenue Sound's sole discretion
For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return and use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation. Avenue Sound shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges, both to and from our warehouse will be paid by the customer, and are non-refundable. At our discretion, Avenue Sound may reimburse shipping charges related to the return or exchange of defective products inside the U.S. only.
In the event that the product you are returning does NOT meet the requirements described in this document, we will photograph the merchandise and packaging, and prepare a detailed summary of our determination as to why the return was denied, the product(s) will be deemed not eligible for return and will be returned to you. If Avenue Sound, at our sole discretion, decides to accept a non-qualified item for return, a restocking fee of up to 25% will be assessed.
